The Conseyu of Mocedá of Gijon and the Association of Young Graffiteros associate launches the project "Visual Poetry." The main objective of this project is to introduce urban culture, understanding this art and the creation around young Hip-Hop culture among young people in the city of Gijón, and in general among all citizenship, as a model and example of an expression of young people have ... continuing to develop the street, the urban space, exhibition space and creation.
This project has the approval of the City of Gijón for its realization, through the assignment of urban spaces, with Financing of Youth in Action Programme of the European Union and in collaboration with Montana Colors
The project will run throughout the month of September in different walls of our city, will be held Thursday September exhibitions by young professionals and will be held Friday workshops with young people who want to approach the world of graffiti.
graffiti workshops will be held every Friday from September 17 to 19 hours in the wall of the C / Port Vegarada and are aimed at young people aged 14 * to 35 years.
"Visual Poetry" is a pilot project which aims to be considered and extended to other areas of the city over the next years and complement other projects.
